Katie Scarlett is an actor, writer, and producer based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Katie is passionate about working at the intersections of mental health, disability, and the arts. As a disabled creative, she began writing and producing her own work in response to the lack of disability representation on screen and stage. Her work, both acting and writing, have received multiple award nominations.

She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in theatre and an unintentional degree in English. Katie later received her MSW from the University of Cincinnati. And she is, remarkably, using all three of her degrees both professionally and creatively.

When she is not onstage, in front of a camera, writing on her couch at 3am, or running around producing projects you can find her in the pool. Katie is a former competitive swimmer who has been teaching swim lessons for over a decade and has an unhealthy obsession with all bodies of water. If she could, she would live on the beach, the lake, or in the pool…good luck getting her back on land.
